Despite 2 years of preparation and already 7 months after GDPR‘s entry into force, a rare company or institution in Lithuania could boast 100% of compliance with the regulation. One of the most notable changes is the increased consumer awareness. The State Data Protection Inspectorate reported that the number of complaints after the GDPR came into force doubled: 644 complaints were received during three quarters of 2018.
