Publications & other

Ieva got interested in the law of life sciences at the university during her internship at the Irish Center for Human Rights at the National University of Ireland – she participated in the research study on the rights and freedoms of a person suffering from infectious diseases. Based on this research Ieva wrote and defended her master’s thesis which then followed by working experience in a law firm, in a life science practice group.

  • Ieva is a co-author of the first edition (2015) of Lithuanian chapter of the International Encyclopaedia of Law – Medical Law, published by Kluwer Law, where she provided not only practical legal information but also valuable insights about both – national and international regulation.

    Ieva is also a co-author of other Lithuanian chapter of international publication – “The Life Sciences Law Review”. You can find this document in PDF file here.

  • As Ieva specializes in the compliance in pharmaceutical sector, where transparency and corruption prevention plays an important role, she was invited to participate in the European Union’s Anti-corruption experience sharing program in Rome (2015), during which Ieva shared he insights on the topic “Transparency in drug reimbursement. Lithuanian experience”.

  • Ieva regularly participates in various professional conferences both as participant and as a speaker – she has provided lectures on various topics, including “Violations of advertising of medicines and liability for them.
